In our Nursing & Dementia care homes we provide 24 hour onsite nursing care to meet residents’ health needs. Our homes can also provide support for older people with mental health problems such as Dementia (including Alzheimers) and Palliative Care.
These homes cater for people who are often not mobile and have much more intensive care needs than our residential home occupants. The homes are led by experienced nurse-qualified Managers – but in addition the overall care is supervised by one of our Directors. We have a close working relationship with the local Primary Care Trust and health care specialists in order to create the most comprehensive and personalised care plan for our residents. Our care staff are qualified with NVQs or equivalent and have regular training updates to enable them to support the needs of our service users.
Our specialist equipment, which includes hoists and electric beds are all selected to make the life of the residents as comfortable as possible.
Our kitchens are highly rated by food hygiene inspectors and the respective chefs produce home comfort foods to satisfy all tastes and diets. As with all of our homes, the produce is fresh and locally sourced.
The residents have regular visits by hairdressers, opticians, chiropodists and dentists. There is a programme of activities on offer from our in-house Activity Co-ordinator. Volunteers, local students and outside entertainers also call in on the homes.

Thank you and your staff for all the kindness shown to my mother. I was constantly impressed by the standard of care provided to her both physically and mentally. SG
